About me

I am currently available for assignment, both still and multimedia, in Chicago, Illinois.

I am drawn toward food photography, but I have an interest in documentary and editorial work. Examples of my other editorial work can be viewed at www.bethrooney.com

After graduating from Ohio University in 2005 I traveled to Paranagua, Brazil with a grant I received from the university. Upon returning to the US I took an internship with Lauren Greenfield in Los Angeles.

Since then I have been freelancing in Chicago, and attended Eddie Adams XX.

My clients include: The New York Times, Saveur, The Chicago Tribune, Chicago Public Radio, Stern Magazine, the FADER, Time Out Chicago, and many others.

My work has been recognized by PDNedu, CPOY, The Truth About the Fact and The Nancy Van Arsdale Photography Award.
